Well there hello my fellow readers! I want to start this post off by saying a huge THANK YOU for reading this post and any other post you may have read this year. 2017 has been an weird year for me. The beginning half of the year was a mixture of confusion and sadness. I went through a lot of sadness with the loss of a loved one and overall confusion of what direction I wanted to go.

The second half of 2017 has been stress-central. I faced a difficult fall semester in school which led to a decrease in content I felt proud of. If you follow me on social media than you may have seen a craziness of different themes I tried out and didn’t like. 2017 has been a huge trial and error.

As I’m writing this I am excited for the future. There are so many things that will happen and I have a motivation to continue forward. In terms of blogging, I think I have found my happy place in content. I have always said I wanted to help others find their happiness and self-confidence. 2018 I will be doing more of that. I have a new motivation centered series in the works that I am so excited to share in the next couple of days.

This past year has seen a lot of putting blogging on the back burner . I am happy that 2018 will be much, much different . I am hopefully going to go back to a more consistent posting schedule. Content creation has been my happy place for a long time and it’s something I love to do. This space as well as my social media is my creative outlet and will continue to be so. With that being said, I want to go ahead and announce the blog will be getting a nice little face lift in the coming weeks so be sure to keep an eye out for some design changes.

One of the things I’m very excited to talk about is YouTube. I wrote about this a few posts ago, but this has been a very long decision. Between my own trouble with self-confidence and overall workload, YouTube has been something I’ve always put off doing. I am pleased to announce that I will have a YouTube channel up and running in January. A set date I do not have but be sure to check this space out for confirmation. YouTube will serve as a more lifestyle-centered space in which I hope all of you can relate to in at least one part.

In this last part of the post, I want to take the time to thank you again. A lot of time blogging can be overwhelming and stressful, but knowing that people out there relate to my content is worth it. I will continue to create content I believe in and that I hope will be of use to at least one person. So thank you for taking a minute of your day to read my posts.

2018 will be a good year. As a believer in the law of attraction, I have to say this out loud. I hope you will say this to yourself on this last day, 2018 will be an amazing year.

Thank you,

Leslie
